𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 #4
This customer operates in the automotive industry. They manufacture special plastic tanks used in various vehicles.
They required compressed air to test the tanks within a pressure range of 𝟰𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟱𝟬 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗴 (~𝟳𝟮𝟱 𝗽𝘀𝗶). There were no specific requirements regarding air purity or dew point.
After several technical discussions, the 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝟱𝟯𝟭𝟳 was selected.
Configuration:
• gas is Air
• discharge pressure: 50 barg (~725 psi)
• capacity: 60 Nm³/h
• water-cooled
• 15 kW motor with V-belt drive
• including demister to collect the oil-water mixture
• we decided to include filtration to achieve a residual oil content of ≤ 0.01 mg/m³, and the customer approved this upgrade.
If I remember correctly, the compressor was delivered in 2012.
🤷♂️Unfortunately, we no longer have feedback from the end user, so I cannot confirm its current operating status or total running hours.
𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀:
• No direct competitors in the 50 bar / 60 Nm³/h segment — strong price-to-performance ratio and complete scope of supply.
• Reliable operation from start-up through each service interval — no unexpected breakdowns reported.
• Compact footprint
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• The gauge panel is installed horizontally. A vertical layout is required for industrial applications. When placing the order, it is necessary to confirm which gauge panel configuration is included.
